Ask a Master Gardener Plant Clinic

Ask a Master Gardener-Plant Clinics is a program where Master Gardener volunteers, in conjunction with the University of Maryland Extension, provide information to home gardeners at the county libraries and other events throughout the county.

  • Master Gardeners look at samples of ailing plants to make diagnosis, give recommendations, answer questions, and provide printed information on a variety of gardening subjects.

  • Ask a Master Gardener library plant clinics are conducted from April through September.  See library dates and locations below for full details.

Virtual Ask a Master gardener sessions occur on Zoom on select second and fourth Monday evenings through September.  The time is 7-8 PM and clients must register on the library’s list of classes to access the Zoom meeting. Registration opens one week before the event and closes one business day beforePlease register using this link:  AAMG schedule and registration

In person AAMG begins June 5th, in the Enchanted Garden at Miller library.  Those sessions are on the first and third Saturday mornings from 10:30-12.They do not take place on holiday weekends.  The dates for the season are: June 5th, June 19th, July 24th, August 7th, August 21st and September 11th.  These sessions are WEATHER DEPENDENT.
