Anne Arundel WSA
The Anne Arundel Watershed Stewards Academy builds capacity in Anne Arundel County by training Master Watershed Stewards to help neighbors reduce pollution in local creeks and rivers.
Their hands-on certification course gives Stewards the tools to implement change in their communities, turning knowledge into action. Stewards work with their communities to install projects such as rain gardens or conservation landscapes and to reduce pollution at its source. Collectively, these small community based actions are improving the health of the larger Chesapeake Bay watershed.

Howard County WSA
The Howard County Watershed Stewards Academy is a training program to empower residents to improve the water quality of local streams. Stewards become community leaders in reducing harmful effects of polluted storm water running off into our streams.
The Academy provides Stewards knowledge and expertise from lecturers, training in using watershed assessment tools for analyzing storm water runoff and hands-on experience installing a solution to a stormwater management problem. A consortium of experienced stormwater management practitioners will provide Stewards with on-going support for their community projects.
Howard County WSA provides property owners with assessments that help them correct erosion problems and storm water damage. They also work with Homeowners Associations, Condominium Associations, Schools, Scouts, Businesses and Non-Profit Organizations to inform and help them prevent pollution.

National Capital Region WSA
The National Capital Region Watershed Stewards Academy equips and supports community leaders to recognize and address local pollution problems in their nearby streams and rivers. The National Capital Region WSA provides community leaders with the tools and resources they need to bring solutions to these problems, restoring their local waterways and the communities they affect.
Each repair by each steward adds up in each and every community, with a “flood” of stewards throughout local watersheds empowered to transform stormwater to clean water; pollution to solution; and concerned resident to Master Steward.
