You don’t have to be an expert; we'll show you the way! The Watershed Stewards Academy is a great opportunity to learn how to solve water quality problems in your community and join a local network of energized leaders.

Cecil County Steward Application

Thank you for your interest in joining the Watershed Stewards Academy! Applications are currently closed but check back here for future opportunities to become a Steward.

You may submit your completed Cecil County Application to Eric Buehl at ebuehl@umd.edu.


Please ask two (2) references to complete the Cecil County Reference Form on your behalf and send the form directly to Eric Buehl at ebuehl@umd.edu as soon as possible.

Tuition Information

The tuition cost for the Cecil County WSA certification course is $150. Please do not send tuition with application. Payment will be due upon acceptance to the program. A limited number of scholarships are available. Contact Eric Buehl at ebuehl@umd.edu for more information.


Applicants will be contacted for a phone interview shortly after the application deadline.
