Talbot County

Welcome to University of Maryland Extension (UME) Talbot County

We are part of a statewide off-campus education system within the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources of the University of Maryland College Park. UME has field offices in all twenty-three Maryland counties and Baltimore City.

We provide educational programming and problem solving assistance based on the research and experience of land grant universities on agricultural production, natural resources, food safety, nutrition and healthy lifestyles, youth development, home and commercial gardening and agricultural nutrient management. This is accomplished via consultations, fact sheets, community 4-H clubs and programs for adults and youth, workshops, courses, and newsletters.

University of Maryland Extension programs are open to all persons. If you require assistance to participate in Extension programs, please contact our office prior to the program.
