Montgomery County Master Gardeners

Master Gardeners are trained volunteers of the University of Maryland Extension, who are dedicated to helping the citizens of Montgomery County, Maryland.  Our mission is to support the University of Maryland Extension mission by educating residents about safe, effective and sustainable horticultural practices that build healthy gardens, landscapes, and communities.

There are several opportunities for Montgomery County citizens to interact with Master Gardeners, including:

- "Ask A Master Gardener" via virtual or in-person plant clinic programs, hands on education programs, major education events, and presentations by members of our speakers bureau; and,

- Demonstration Gardens located throughout the county.
