Country Explorers 4-H Club News Cole Kepple, Reporter On February 21st, the Country Explorers 4H Club had their monthly meeting at St. John’s Lutheran Church. Kyle Kepple gave an opening reading on Neil Armstrong, Preston Miller did a demonstration on his wood-burning picture, and Alexis nice gave a talk about her fair steer. Izzy Hauser reported on the Livestock Judging practices. Club members signed up for the county communication event and for the club’s LEGO 4-H robotic team. The club also planned a tour at Simon Pearce. Following the meeting, the group traveled to Canaan Valley to Big John’s where they enjoyed a pizza and salad buffet. After dinner, the club separated into two groups; one going snow tubing and the other ice-skating at Canaan Valley State Park. The club had a great time and the weather was perfect.
