Spicy Green Beans

Servings: 4

Ingredients:

1 pound fresh green beans, washed and trimmed
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1 small onion, chopped
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon oregano
1 (16 ounce) can crushed tomatoes

Directions:

  1. Cook green beans until crisp-tender. Drain and set aside.
  2. Chop onion and cook in olive oil until tender.
  3. Add oregano, and garlic powder to onions. Blend and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add tomatoes and green beans to the onion mixture. Stir well and cook over low heat until heated thoroughly.
