Bay Invaders

Bay Invaders is a program that supports 9th grade students enrolled in Environmental Science in identifying and learning about invasive plants in our environment and applying that information to what they have studied about the impact of humans and invasive species on habitats. We then assist students in actively removing these invasive plants from our county parks.

We are a cooperative program working with Anne Arundel County Park Rangers, Arlington Echo Center of Outdoor Education of Anne Arundel County Public Schools, and Anne Arundel Weed Resistance.

Volunteer dates are determined by teachers and curriculum and occur during the 3rd quarter, from February through April.
