Agricultural Science Agent
Andy has been with UME Harford County since 2016 and holds a MS in Plant Pathology from the University of Delaware. As a UME faculty member, he focuses on helping commercial growers become more productive, profitable, and sustainable through ag education and applied research. Read more.

Aziz earned a BS in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Towson University and is currently pursuing an MPH in Environmental Health Sciences at the University of Maryland. He brings a strong background in bilingual community outreach and extension education. Read more.

Ben has served as an Agricultural Sciences Extension Educator in St. Mary’s County since 2000. He holds a BS in Agricultural Sciences, an MS in Management and Marketing, and is a Certified Crop Advisor. Read more.

Based out of the Baltimore County Extension, Erika has been with UME since 2016, first serving as a Nutrient Management Advisor before transitioning to her current role as an Agriculture Educator in 2018. She holds a B.S. in Equine Science from Colorado State University. Read more.
Senior Agent Associate
Megan has been with UME since 2008, first serving as a Nutrient Management Advisor in Somerset County and now as an Agriculture Agent Associate at UME Worcester County since 2018. A farm owner herself, her programs focus on small ruminants, backyard poultry, and pasture management. Read more.

Nathan serves as the Ag Extension Educator in Howard County and previously taught agriculture at a rural university in Liberia, South Africa. He holds a BS in Animal and Avian Sciences and Secondary Education, and an MBA in New Business Development. Read more.
Extension Specialist
Based at the Lower Eastern Shore Research and Education Center (LESREC), Dr. Jonathan Moyle's expertise is in helping farmers run economically viable, environmentally responsible poultry operations. His research targets key production needs, including alternative bedding solutions, enhanced nutrient management, and improved biosecurity for both commercial and small-scale flocks. Read more.
