Each year, 7th grade students from Queen Anne's County Public Schools attend Agriculture Awareness Days to learn about Maryland's #1 industry. This once in a lifetime educational experience to learn about Maryland agriculture includes a coalition of agricultural educators, professionals and youth involved in 4-H and FFA, who join together to present a science-based educational experience to teach kids about the variety of careers available to them in fields like technology, crop science, aquaculture, botany, farm operations, and animal husbandry.
