The Montgomery County Agricultural Center Fair provides a great opportunity for our 4-H'ers to share their knowledge, skills, and products with the community through exhibitions and demonstrations. It also provides an opportunity to be recognized for all of the hard work they've put into 4-H throughout the past year.
Ticket Information
4‑H members who exhibit at the fair will receive a free weekly fair pass by mail.
The Montgomery County Agricultural Fair offers reduced‑price admission tickets for Montgomery County 4‑H members and their immediate families (parents and siblings). These discounted tickets can be purchased online through the Fair’s exhibit entry system or in person during Fair workdays.

• Daily Pass – free parking
• Daily Pass – no parking included
• Season Pass – free parking
• Season Pass (ages 12–18) – no parking included
• Children 11 and younger – free every day, no pass required
Enter Your Work at the Fair
All exhibitors will receive a free season pass by mail.
We encourage exhibitors to use the online entry system provided by the Montgomery County Agricultural Center.
Using the online system helps reduce paperwork and entry errors. Make sure you select the correct department (4‑H or Open). If you cannot enter online, paper entry forms can be found in the back of the fair catalog

After the fairgrounds receive all 4‑H entry registrations, they will send display tags to the county 4‑H office.
Display tags must accompany each indoor entry. Tags will be available for pickup at the 4‑H office beginning in August (date TBD). Some club leaders may pick up tags for their clubs and distribute them at meetings.

Information for Animal Exhibitors
To exhibit animals at the county fair, you must:
• Attend one Animal Exhibitor Orientation session held on Fair workdays, and
• Ensure completion of all required items on the Animal Science Info & Forms page
including:
Animal registration forms
Animal Husbandry and Quality Assurance Program
Dairy Verification Card (for dairy cattle exhibitors)
Animal Exhibitor Orientation
All 4‑H animal exhibitors—including pet show participants—are required to attend an orientation session.
These sessions cover updates on animal and public health rules, 4‑H requirements, fair policies, and tips for a positive fair experience.

Pet Show
Pet Show exhibitors must attend one Animal Exhibitor Orientation session.
For your species please review all Maryland Fair and Show Requirements
These rules apply to the pet show as well.
Additional requirements:
• Some poultry species require testing
• Dogs must have a current rabies certificate, be in good health, and be kept on a 6‑foot leash at all times
• Cats must have a current rabies certificate, be in good health, and remain in a pet carrier except during judging
• All equines must provide proof of a current negative Equine Infectious Anemia (Coggins) test
