Our self-directed, non-credit course is designed for individuals wishing to increase their understanding of forests and forest management. Specifically, the General Forestry Course targets Maryland forest landowners and other citizens with an interest in the principles and practices of forestry. The course is offered online through the university's Electronic Learning Management System (ELMS).
The General Forestry Course Fall 2023 session will run August 28 - December 11. Registration information will be available later in the spring.
Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis.
