University of Maryland Extension (UME) is a statewide, non-formal education system that provides resources and problem-solving assistance to citizens based on the research and experience of Maryland’s land grant universities. There is an Extension office located in each of Maryland’s 23 counties as well as Baltimore City. The Harford County office receives funding from the federal government via the U.S. Department of Agriculture; from the state government via the University of Maryland, College Park; and from the Harford County government. Our mission is to provide "solutions in your community" so please contact us if we can assist you!
