The Cecil County office of the University of Maryland Extension offers educational programs to the residents of the county. University of Maryland Extension is an unique educational organization involving a partnership between federal, state, and county governments designed to "Solutions in your community." Cecil County Extension faculty strive to stimulate a positive learning change educating audiences in the areas of Agriculture, 4-H Youth Development, Food & Nutrition, Environment & Natural Resources, Water & Chesapeake Bay, Money, Health & Wellness, and Gardening & Horticulture, including the Master Gardener program. Unbiased research information is delivered to county residents through workshops, seminars, clinics, classes, newsletters and media efforts.
