Dorchester County

Welcome to the University of Maryland Extension of Dorchester County!

We are part of a statewide, non-formal education system within the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources of the University of Maryland, College Park, and the University of Maryland, Eastern Shore.  This partnership also includes support from USDA as well as the county government.

UME Dorchester County faculty and staff are here to serve all Marylanders. We strive to deliver “solutions in your community” by providing educational programs and problem-solving assistance based on the research and experience of land-grant universities in agricultural production, natural resources, food safety, nutrition, and healthy lifestyles, youth development, volunteer development, and agricultural nutrient management.

Explore our program areas below and learn how you can get involved with UME and the community, or visit the main UME page to access more broadscale resources.
