Do you ever find yourself at your child’s school thinking, “wouldn’t it be great if we could…?” Make your voice heard by joining your school’s Parent Teacher Association/Organization (PTA/PTO)!

The Parent Teacher Association/Organization (PTA/PTO) is a great way to share your ideas and speak directly with other parents, teachers, and staff, including the principal.

Joining the PTA/PTO may require a small fee to join. There are many benefits to being a part of this group, though. Parents help fundraise to support programs and provide supplies that the school needs to help children learn and grow. These groups give parents a voice for positive changes that they want to see in their school. The PTA/PTO also offers a place of support and connection to the greater school community.

Throughout the school year, the PTA/PTO raises money and provides positive programs to the school. By joining the PTA/PTO you can be a part of the planning of the many activities that take place throughout the school year. Some ways that you can be involved include:

Be active in your PTO/PTA this school year! Your child will thank you!!!
