Held the end of August, 4-H members are invited to enter their 4-H projects and share their 4-H experiences. Registration for the event is through the Maryland State Fair’s webpage and opens early summer. Many annual 4-H competitive events are held in conjunction with the State Fair.

Maryland 4-H uses an online platform called 4HOnline for yearly enrollment and event registration. Volunteer and Member re-enrollment closes March 1st annually. New members may join anytime during the year. Maryland 4-H has an annual $10 membership fee.
The Frederick County 4-H Camp & Activities Center serves as the hub of county-wide activities for Frederick County 4-H. Youth participate in hands-on learning experiences to develop life skills through 4-H Projects, 4-H Club Meetings, 4-H Activities, and 4-H Camp at our beautiful camp center near Jefferson, Maryland.
Frederick County 4-H Volunteers maintain and manage this facility with the support of community donations and rentals. All rentals and fundraisers support the up-keep and maintenance of this great facility serving Frederick County 4-H Youth Development Programs!
