4-H & NASA!
Mission: THE SUN
“4-H + NASA Mission: Sun” is a STEM-focused virtual event series designed for 4-H Intermediate youth (Program age 11-13). Their Mission: Using participants’ provided “Mission Supply Pack,” to engage in numerous hands-on activities and experiences to learn about NASA and its missions, STEM careers, Astronomy, our solar system, Heliophysics (Sun or Solar Science), and Earth’s role in all of it! Co-developed by Maryland 4-H and NASA HEAT (Heliophysics Education Activation Team) at Goddard, this program aims to use the sun to engage audiences with STEM concepts in a new and exciting way!
Dates: Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 21-July 7, 2022 (June 21, 23, 28, 30, July 5, 7)
Time: 1 pm - 3 pm

Eligibility
This event is open to enrolled 4-H youth members who are 4-H program age 11-13.
4-H program age is the youth's age on January 1, 2022. The event is limited to 30 youth participants.
Once the event is filled, a waitlist will be established.
Fees
There is a $35.00 fee for this event. You will receive a “Mission Supply Pack” containing a number of materials you will need for your mission. You can pick up your Mission Supply Pack from your local 4-H office free of charge or have it mailed to your home base for an additional $15.00 postage fee.
You will be required to authorize payment of the registration fee and postage fee (if selected) to your credit/debit card when you submit your registration. Your card will be charged when
your registration is approved.
