Master Gardener Basic Training will begin in February and last through April of 2020. Classes will be held on Thursdays from 9 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. at the Eastern Shore Higher Education Center in Wye Mills.

Topics include: ecology, botany, soils, propagation, diseases, insect pests and control measures, among many more. The fee is $200 and registration is required. Contact Mikaela Boley, Master Gardener Coordinator at mboley@umd.edu or 410-822-1244 for additional information and to register. 

Ask a Master Gardener Plant Clinics will be located in the lobby of the Talbot County Free Library of the Easton Branch on Sept. 5th and 19th of 2019. We also hold Ask a Master Gardener tables at the St. Michael's Farmer's Market on the 3rd Saturday of the month.

Talbot County Free Seed Library is located at the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library. The seed library is open to all members of the public (no library card required), and is periodically stocked with an assortment of seed varieties.

  • Gardening To-Do's: Permaculture in Focus, Sept. 14th at 10 A.M., St. Michael's Branch meeting room
  • Seeds: Cracking the Code, Sept. 27th at 10 A.M., Easton Branch meeting room

Horticulture Therapy at The Pines (Genesis), Easton, MD 21601 on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month at 2:30 PM.
