Master Gardeners

University of Maryland Extension directs the Queen Anne’s County Master Gardener program. The principle goal of the program is to train residents to become certified Master Gardeners who serve as volunteer horticulture educators. The mission of the Master Gardener program is to educate local citizens about safe, effective, and sustainable horticultural practices that build health gardens, landscapes and communities to promote a healthier world through environmental stewardship.
