The Frederick County Shooting Sports club participates in many training events throughout the year. Not only do these 4-Hers hone their techniques and skill, they also seek out opportunities in the community to educate others about gun safety. Member have paired with the NRA's "Eddie Eagle" program to work with young children on the proper way to react to a gun - "Stop, Don't Touch, Leave the Area and Tell an Adult".
