ENROLLMENT INFORMATION

2021 Enrollment-To join the Howard County 4-H program, you will need to complete the online enrollment process.  Please keep in mind that we ask potentialmembers to attend at least one 4-H meeting prior to enrolling in the online system.  

Current re-enrollment for the 2021 is currently open and the link to register is https://v2.4honline.com/#/user/sign-in [2].

Howard County 4-H Beef Identification Day is scheduled for Saturday, January 16th (snowdate-Saturday, January 23rd).  Please read through all of the information in the documents below as there are many changes and different procedures we will have to follow for 2021.  Please know that protocols could potentially change due to COVID-19.

Officer Training [7]-The Central Maryland 4-H Cluster is pleased to announce the release of a virtual Officer Training resource that was created to help our 4-H club officers.  

Since this is a google presentation, anyone viewing will need to select the present mode.  Once that has been done, click through the different images and words to take you to the next slide. Camp Teen Leader Application [10]-Due to ongoing health concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic, CDC and ACA guidelines, there are accommodations and changes currently being made to Maryland 4-H Camping Programs.   Please have patience, understanding, and flexibility, as our ultimate goal for 2021 is to have some type of camping program for our Howard County community. While this summer’s programs may look a bit different, the Maryland 4-H Camping Program is still committed to providing our youth with opportunities to feel a sense of belonging, develop independence, facilitate generosity, and work towards mastery.

Completing an application [10], submitting a resume, and interview is required as part of the selection process for a position.  If selected for a position with the 4-H camping program, please remember, it is mandatory that you complete 30 hours of training.   Training for both Teen and Adult staff will be offered virtually at this time, however is subject to change.  On February 13, 2021, the training schedule will be posted.

 Teen Leader Applications [10] will be due via email to Crein@umd.edu [11] by Friday, January 29, 2021.

 Teen Leader Interviews will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021 virtually.

 All Applicants will receive an email with the time of their interview and a link to connect.

Howard County 4-H Livestock Sale Committee Youth Representative Open Positions-The Howard County 4-H Livestock Sale Committee has two 4-H youth representative positions currently open for 2021.  Please read the information letter [16] and then complete the application [17] if interested.  Applications [17] are due to Sheryl Bennett at sherylb@umd.edu [18] by January 4, 2021.
