Food plays an important role in our lives. Through nutrition, health and fitness programs, Extension educators enable Maryland families, individuals and employees to make healthier choices for themselves and those they care for.

Extension educators provide programs in topics such as food safety and preventing foodborne illness, food preservation, and nutrition education for youth and adults.
