Keeping Disease from Poultry Farms

Planning continues to prevent the introduction of avian influenza viruses into Delmarva's chicken industry and to prepare in case there is avian influenza detected locally.

On June 11, the University of Delaware and University of Maryland hosted three workshops for growers and others to let them know about avian influenza, how it impacts chickens, what it could mean to Delmarva's chicken industry, and what all of us should be doing to prevent its introduction.
