Pesticide Container Recycling in Harford County

The Maryland Department of Agriculture (MDA) will offer the empty plastic pesticide container recycling program again in 2013 with two drop-off locations in Harford County:

  • The Mill of Black Horse, located at 4551 Norrisville Road in White Hall. Containers will be collected from current customers only, June 1 through September 30. For hours and drop-off instructions, call The Mill at 410-329-6010.
  • Scarborough Landfill, located at 3241 Scarborough Road in Street. Containers will be accepted from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. on June 7, July 5, August 7, and September 6.

To ensure a successful program, each individual container will be inspected by MDA personnel and only triple-rinsed, clean, plastic pesticide containers will be accepted at the scheduled dates and times listed here.
