National 4-H Conference - Maryland Delegation

The 2014 National 4-H Conference will be held in Chevy Chase, Maryland April 5th through the 10th.  The National 4-H Conference is the premiere civic engagement opportunity for 4-H members (15-19 yrs.) from across the U.S. and its territories. The conference is administered by 4-H National Headquarters of the National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) within the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). This experience upholds a tradition dating back to 1927d to develop the next generation of leaders. Delegates attend training workshops, became acquainted with government and have the opportunity to meet with state leaders and national leaders.

We are proud to announce our 2014 Maryland Delegation.  Congratulations to Laura Fielder - Harford County, Kelly Harris and Anna Sissom - Queen Anne's County, Grace Kelley - Kent County and Hannah Lehew - Charles County.  Lacie Ashby, 4-H Educator - Allegany County will chaperone the group.  These 4-Hers had outstanding Portfolios and excelled in their interviews in order to be selected.  We look forward to their representing Maryland at this national forum.
