Healthy Living - TEEN Opportunities

"Cooking Matters @ the Store" is one of our 4-H Healthy Living grant opportunities.   Interested 4-H teens and volunteer leaders will be conducting at least two “Cooking Matters” tours in their local WalMart stores between now and the end of November, 2013.  In exchange, each youth will receive up to 60 hours of community service hours as well as incentives for participation.

We'll be training our 4-Hers and any interested adult volunteers to help others make wise choices when food shopping.  The training will be a fun informative 2 day/ overnight training where 4-H teens and adults from across the state will be introduced to the program/ get training kits/ and start to earn service learning hours and training incentives!  Encourage your 4-H Club to get involved.  Focus on the Health "H" and come as a group to the Training!
