Harford Ag Marketing Co-Op Grants Available

The Harford County Agricultural Marketing Cooperative, Inc. is proud to announce the 2013 Emerging Technology Grant.  This grant program focuses on utilizing technology to improve agricultural operations or agricultural support operations.  The technology may be a new technology.  It may also be an older technology that is applied in a new way or re-introduced to replace an existing technology.  The technology may be applied to agricultural production or services to agriculture. Highest priority will be given to a proposal that is applied and available to all Harford County agriculture.  The second highest priority will be to proposals that support a specific segment of Harford County’s agriculture. Applications that seek funding for a single farm operation/business will be ranked as the third priority.  The Cooperative’s Board of Directors may monitor the enterprise during the initial three-year period. If you are interested in applying for an Emerging Technology Grant, please contact Kate Dallam at 410-399-2697 or 443-807-0652to obtain an application.  The deadline for receipt of all completed grant applications is July 24, 2013.
