Description/Notes: 

Dr. Marc Implay, renowned Maryland invasive plant expert and recent award winner of the 2014 “Volunteer/Terrestrial Award” from the Mid-Atlantic Invasive Plant Council of Maryland, will give a talk about key invasive plants in the area and what we can do to combat them. Meet other local groups that are trying to combat and track the spreading of these 'villains of the valley' throughout the lower Patapsco River watershed area, including Local chapter of the Maryland Sierra Club, Tree Savers of Catonsville (removing English Ivy from trees) and Towson State University (tracking the location of wavyleaf basketgrass through GPS technology).
