Carrollton 4-H Club Readies for Rocket Launch

On Saturday, April 14th, seven members of the Carrollton 4-H Club met for a Rocket Workshop. The workshop, led by senior member Nick Jones, was designed to teach younger members how to build a rocket for the fair and what to expect on launch day. Each participant built an Estes "Wizard" model rocket that was launch- ready except for paint. Club members look forward to the rocket launch in July where they compete for awards in craftsmanship, altitude, and spot landing accuracy.
