Worcester UME would like to give a shout out to our 4-H Program Assistant Kelly Carroll-Richardson for truly making a difference on National Make a Difference Day, Saturday, October 24, 2015. Kelly and a group of approximately 19 youngsters met in Pocomoke to decorate the front of the Police Department for Fall. They had a full day of decorating and interacting with the police personnel, including the K-9 officer. The kids were given a tour of the building as well.

Pocomoke’s City Council has enthusiastically invited Kelly and her young volunteers to be recognized at their Council meeting tonight, November 2, 2015. What makes this even more impactful is that many of her volunteers come from minority, underserved populations. Way to go, Kelly, for giving these kids a way to shine and be recognized!
