4-H Enviro-Action!

A new 4-H Enviro-Action lesson for this month is about Geology.

Geology is more than just rocks. It includes all of the parts and processes of the landscape that affect the way plants, animals, and humans live. As summer cools off, take a hike through a local park or search your own backyard for rocks and signs of geological processes, like erosion.  Do some research to learn more about the rocks in your area and what they can tell you about the long history of the ground you're standing on.
