2014 Out-of-State Trips

As a result of our 4-H  Portfolio program we had fifty-seven 4-H teens complete a resume, an essay and participate in the interview process. Congratulations to the 14 counties who were represented in this group!

Many of our Trips are taking place this month.  Sarah Giordano and Hannah Nusbaum – Carroll County will attend the Virginia 4-H Congress held on the Virginia Tech Campus.  The West Virginia 4-H Older Members Camp held at Jackson Mill will be attended by Adam Edwards, Prince George's County and Katherine Weant, Carroll County.   Camp Miniwanca on the shores of Lake Michigan is the location of the American Youth Fellowship - leadership camp and our two Maryland Delegates are Evelyn Burch, Prince George's County and Megan McCulley, Talbot County.  

This fall the National 4-H Congress will again be gathering over 1,600 4-H Teen Leaders from across the country in Atlanta, Georgia for the five day event.  Our 2014 Maryland Delegation by county will be:

Anne Arundel County – Samantha Barlage
Baltimore County – Melissa Coroneos
Calvert County – Sabrina Dobbins
Caroline County – Gabrielle Parsley
Carroll County – Austin Stoner
Cecil County – Allison Ferver
Charles County – Emily Solis
Harford County – Rebecca Burgess, Sarah Fielder and Nicole Sexton
Howard County – Jennifer Carroll - who will serve as our MD Flag Bearer
Kent County – Kyle Plummer
Montgomery County – Anna Linthicum, Curtis Gannon and Gillian Hutter
Prince George’s County - Daniel Burch
Queen Anne’s County – Helen King
St. Mary’s County – Gabrielle Cory who was our Highest Scorer and will serve as our Maryland Teen Leader!!!  Congratulations Gabrielle!
Talbot County – Maria McCulley
Wicomico County – Wesley Myrer
