Enterprise Selection Keys to Success

Thinking about getting started with an agricultural enterprise can be an overwhelming, daunting experience.  If you are unsure of what type of enterprise best fits your lifestyle and resources, then the Enterprise Selection Guide may help you along.  This guide was developed to give you food-for-thought in evaluating which farming enterprise(s) might best meet your farming interests, knowledge, and resources.

Using this guide:

Below are 10 enterprise areas in agriculture.  Click on an area of interest and you will be presented 10 questions.   As you read the questions, answer each with a "yes" or a "no."  If you can answer yes to the majority of the questions about an enterprise, you might want to consider that option.  If you have few check marks about an enterprise, this may not be a good fit for you at this time.

Happy exploring!
