Gardening Problems?

Montgomery County Master Gardeners provide a variety of resources to assist you in solving your gardening problems.  We have weekly and monthly plant clinics at various locations around the County, where you may bring your questions and pick up information sheets on various topics.  You may also bring your plant samples or photos with you to the plant clinics to help us in responding to your gardening problem.

Insect and plant samples can also be dropped off at our Derwood location, 18410 Muncaster Road, during regular business hours between 8:30 and 4:30 Monday through Friday.  Our resident horticulturist and other experts will respond to your question after they examine the dropped-off material.  Be sure to complete the form that is available in the basement hallway.

The Home and Garden Information Center website has a series of fact sheets that can be useful when researching and solving a gardening problem.

The Home and Garden Information Center website has a feature which allows you to Ask An Expert your particular gardening question.  You can help them to assist you by enclosing a photo.
