On February 24, 2008, Dr. Gerald Brust traveled with Dr. Kate Everts to Jamaica to teach a 2-week course on insects and IPM in vegetables (Kate taught plant pathology). The trip was in conjunction with Partners of the Americas Farmer to Farmer Organization in Washington DC and was part of their Agriculture Production and Marketing Improvement Project – Jamaica. Kate and Jerry were at a two year training academy called Ebony Park. While there they also visited local growers and markets . . .
