Join us July 19-23, 2021 for this year's virtual camping program. Educators from around the state are joining forces to bring you a top notch virtual camping experience. We are looking forward to learning about all of the sciences (Environmental, Mechanical, Engineering, Agriculture, Physical, and Human). Topics include: coding, escape rooms, robotics, oysters, zoonosis, Ag-innovators, arts and crafts, magic, pollination, games, and so much more. This program is designed for youth ages 8-13 years old. Older youth are welcome. Clover buds ages 5-7 may find some activities challenging and may require additional support and supervision to participate.
Virtual camp is designed to allow for families to work around their personal needs. We understand that not every day looks the same, and that family members' schedules will vary. Lesson plans and support videos will be posted in the morning of the camp day between 8-9 a.m. and can be done as the youth has time. We will post approximately 6 activities daily in addition to a morning opener and an evening reflective or story activity. Each day at varying times there will be a live component that youth can log into. These events are optional. We will post a schedule of live events as we get closer to the start date of camp.
There are three levels of pricing for camp:
- Option 1: Link to the online experience Free
- Option 2: Camp T-shirt and online link $15.00
- Option 3: Camp in a box-include online link, T-shirt, hard copies of all lesson plans with needed supplies- $50.00
Box pickup will be July 14-16 at various extension offices around the state or you can pay to ship.
Limited scholarships available, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Register through 4-H Online and pay your registration fee by July 5, 2021.
