Small Acreage Foresters Directory

Jonathan Kays & Andrew A. Kling, University of Maryland Extension
Small-acreage owners can benefit from professional foresters

As the population of Maryland has grown, many larger parcels of land have been parceled into properties ranging in size from 1 to 10 acres, with a mix of woodland and open land. However, property owners who have these properties often have special challenges in finding professional services for their woodlands. In order to assist the small-acreage woodland owner, University of Maryland Extension has developed this directory of consulting and professional foresters who are willing to work with small acreage woodland owners.
