Legal Developments in Animal Agriculture

2015 has seen many legal developments in animal agriculture.  We have seen one federal district court hold manure when applied inexcess to be a solid waste under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act.  We have seen groups push to have the animal agriculture exemption under the Clean Air Act removed and a push to change the definition of "Waters of the U.S." under the Clean Water Act.  Shannon Ferrell, an associate professor of agricultural economics, Department of Agricultural Economics, Oklahoma State University, presented a webinar covering these topics.  Below is a copy of the webinar and his powerpoint is available here.
