University of Maryland Extension

I'm interested in growing cut flowers for sale. Where should I start?

Cut flowers at a farmers market

University of Maryland Extension's Commercial Horticulture Program has a great website on commercial cut flower production. They also offer annual trainings for cut flower growers, often at events organized by cut flower growers' associations such as the Association of Specialty Cut Flower Growers or the Maryland Cut Flower Growers Association.
