Baltimore county AG Activity Book

The Baltimore County Ag Activity Book is a booklet geared towards youth ages 6 to 12 years old. The purpose of the bulletin is to provide education to visitors who enter the Baltimore County Center for Maryland Agriculture and Farm Park. The Baltimore County Extension office is located on the grounds of the 149 acre park which is open to the public. Guests come on the property to hike, see the gardens, visit the animals, and/or participate in programs. The Ag Center is home to support services for the agriculture community including Baltimore Soil Conservation District, Maryland Agricultural Resource Council, U.S. Department of Agriculture Natural Resource Conservation Service and Farm Services Agency. The intention of the authors is that the booklet will be used to provide a research based educational experience to the public onsite or in other locations. By learning more about Maryland agriculture, visitors will also gain knowledge about the services provided by the agencies onsite.
