Invasive Plants

Mile-a-minute vine

Invasive plants cause damage through their displacement of more desirable plants. They show up in overwhelming quantities in our lawns, gardens, business landscapes, pastures, woodland areas, and agricultural fields. We spend our chore time, our free time, and our volunteer time trying to hold back the tide, and yet they come.

Who Should Care About Invasive Plants?

  • Gardeners
  • Food Gardeners & Food Eaters
  • Birders & Hunters
  • Motorists & Pedestrians
  • Park Staff & Park Visitors
  • Animal Lovers
