Dig In!

Dig In!  Standards Based Nutrition Education from the Ground Up

Dig In! is a standards-based gardening and nutrition curriculum designed for grades 5 and 6.  Through ten inquiry-based lessons, students are engaged in gardening through growing, harvesting, tasting and learning about fruits and vegetables.  To keep parents and caregivers connected, this curriculum provides the Dig In! At Home Parent Booklet.  Great nutrition and healthy living messages can also be shared all over the school with six Dig In! posters.

Dig In! is part of the Healthy School Communities initiative.
