Looking for something new to do for a mid-week lunch hour? Then join us for the Woodland Stewardship Education program’s new series of “Woodland Wildlife Webinars,” to be held at 12 noon on the last Wednesday of the month through the end of the year. Each program is free and will be conducted via WebEx.

Our first webinar, “Biology, Management & Behavior of Black Bears in Maryland,” will feature a talk by Harry Spiker, Black Bear Biologist for the Maryland Department of Natural Resources - Wildlife & Heritage Service. He will discuss the state of the species in Maryland, including current populations, nuisance problems and mortality.
