Calling all Farmers/Growers to your Field Day at the University of Maryland's Lower Eastern Shore Research and Education Center (LESREC) to be held Wednesday, June 27, from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and will include the research geared towards your needs:

  • IR-4 Program
  • Ag Law and Conserve
  • Plant Pathology
  • Plant Diagnostic Information
  • Nutrient Management/Soil Health (chance for Nutrient Management Credits)
  • Weed Management
  • Bee and Pollen Research
  • Poultry / Dairy Information
  • Variety Trials
  • Wagon Tours
  • Luncheon is provided

Researchers and Ag Agents will be available to answer questions. University of Maryland Extension will also have information on Food Safety.

Morning of: A registration table will be set up for you to check in and start your tour! Tours begin at 9:15.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes. Please bring to the registration booth upon arrival. We need a head count for lunch, so we appreciate your pre-registration.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Yes. As long as we have one ticket for each person.
