Learn how to transition the garden from exotics, particularly invasive exotics, to a garden full of beautiful native plants of Maryland that feed our insects, birds and wildlife. There will be plenty of information on the common invasive plants of Maryland as well.

Speaker Ann Aldrich's work in field botany, land management, garden restoration and design inform the presentation that she hopes will open a discussion on the role gardeners/residents play in preserving a bit of our environment to meet the needs of other species.
