Lisa McCoy, RDN will be offering a hands-on food preservation workshop on Tuesday, July 30, 2019.  Participants will learn how to can low sodium pickles using current recommended techinques for canning.

Workshop includes a brief lecture, followed by participants going into the kitchen to make their own jar that you can take home that day!

Cost:  $20.00 per class which includes the ingridients and supplies for the class

So Easy Preserve book will also be available for purchase for $20.00. 

Workshop Location:  University of Maryland Extenstion, Garrett County Office meeting room/kitchen at 1916 Maryland Highway, Mountain Lake Park.
