Those wishing to apply and/or purchase restricted use pesticides in Maryland are required to obtain certification from the Maryland Department of Agriculture (MDA). Training sessions for applicators will be offered through the Extension Office. Recertification* training will be offered on October 17 from 1-3:30 p.m. The training sessions are free to attend, but please register ahead of time.

*Recertification credits will meet the requirements for renewing your private applicator license, as well as 4 credits towards commercial pesticide applicator recertification in categories 1A, 6 and 10.
