Those wishing to apply and/or purchase restricted use pesticides in Maryland are required to obtain certification from the Maryland Department of Agriculture (MDA). Training sessions for private applicators will be offered through the Extension Office. New applicator training will be offered from 9-11:30 a.m. Those seeking new certification will have to take the MDA certification exam on October 24 from 9-11:00 a.m. Study materials are available. The training sessions are free to attend, but please register ahead of time.
