This educational meeting will give fruit and vegetable producers a look at several of the ongoing projects at the research facility located in Washington County, MD, as well as the opportunity to interact with University of Maryland researchers and Extension specialists. Topics will include updates on trellis apples and rootstocks, tree fruit disease, the Maryland Apple Tree Architectural Project, small fruit disease and insects, pumpkin disease and insects, cover crop and tillage management’s influence on weeds in vegetable production, and a sneak preview of the WMREC Hops Project.
